ABOUT US

Masseria Fellicchie belongs to Paolo Basile, an agronomist, who brought his wife and his two sons Benedetta and Alfonso to live here all year-round.

Paolo and Federica worked together on the renovation of the Masseria, respecting its original approach and philosophy.

The structure of the farmhouse imposes itself in a dry and clean way, in an Apulian simplicity that conquers for its absolute sobriety.

The Basile family, which has maintained the property for several generations, purchased it with the purpose of using it for the transhumance of podolic cows from the nearby hills of the Murgia where it owned its herds.

Today, however, the company has a predominantly olive-growing vocation and its olive groves produce extra-virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
